I've had my lunch checked out with x-rays

I know posting hasn't been very regular lately. I had a friend visiting this whole week, seeing as how it's reading week and all. Showed him around Ottawa, went on the canal, saw The Kirov (ballet), went to a few museums, watched all of Firefly as well as a little SGU. All in all, it was a pretty good week.

David Koma for Topshop

Topshop has always done amazing collaborations and always will. The newest with David Koma, however, is probably in my top three favourites. Sure, it's all bodycon dresses - same old thing. It's the tiny details that completely change it from a simple dress to a head turning masterpiece.

Time traveler

I've always loved the more medieval looks, fashion wise. If I could, I would be wearing this every day:

However, things like this might be more *ahem* modern and wearable:

I've always wanted to wear a white, loose, flowy dress with a white corset on top:

(corset found on google, everything else from here)

A day where I actually tried to make my face look decent, aka I put makeup on, but let my hair look like crap. Oh well:

These are lights. Of sorts. I don't know from what:

Random photos I found while going through my computer. Just thought I'd share.

The ruffle

I was sent this jacket by the wonderful Jennifer from eShakti.com. It's so much better in person than I could've imagined. It's the small details, such as the buttons, that really make it pop - and, you know, THE ruffle. It's asymmetrical; how could I not love it? Anyhow, I took a look through the whole site and everything is simply amazing. The have sizes ranging from 0-26, which is one of the things I really like. You can also custom size everything by simply sending in your measurements, from jackets to dresses to pants! Being a curvy girl, I like that their selection doesn't have a large that fits like an extra-small. You can check out the rest of her clothing right here.

Life in stills

Basically what my life feels like right now. If you don't know what one these movie/show stills are from, we were never meant to be friends. Just saying.

Flip flopping

The thing that gets me about people is how incredibly hypocritical they can be. Everyone always wants to help  but then can't handle the stress and bails on  you. Or they say they like you the way you and to never change, but the second something isn't the same they're angry. Ever feel like you're just lost in a sea of complete bullshit and you're now pushing people away? I mean, they abandoned you in the first place, they weren't there when they said they would be, so why rely on them now? But now everything is so much worse and you need them more than ever but it's too late. You're completely alone.
