Wore this outfit to run some errands today. I found this dress at the thrift store I work out while sorting through all the clothing, and after hiding it and debating over it, I decided to buy it. I mean, it was $2.50, so if I only wear it this once, it's not a big loss. I've been knitting like crazy lately and am planning on making my own circle scarf.

Red lips and winged eye liner

Wore this today to celebrate my one month anniversary with my boyfriend. I started volunteering at a thrift store last week and I absolutely love it. The only bad thing is that it makes me want to shop non stop! There are definitely some pieces I want to buy and do a bit of a DIY project on. I'm thinking cut outs on blouses and dresses.

I hope you all had a great weekend! I spent mine watching a horror movie with my boyfriend, shopping for wood stain and crown moulding, and continuing to write my novel (if you follow me on twitter (link on the side) you'll know what I'm talking about).
Anyhow, I finally tracked down a pair of wide leg trousers in my size. I'm a size 14, so I'm just too big for "regular" stores, and just too small for plus size stores, so finding clothing is really tricky right now. I found these trousers at Addition Elle - I absolutely love that store! If you're a size 14 or more, I definitely recommend shopping there. The workers are so sweet and the clothing is actually really cute.

Purple haze

I wore this today to hang out with my boyfriend. The weather here is unseasonably warm. Granted, it's still cold, but I'm able to wear a skirt and tights without getting frost bite and there isn't much snow on the ground. So I'll call it warm.
On a worse note, I do seem to be coming down with a cold and cough combination which seems to want to kill me. But on a plus side, I got myself a brand new Black and Decker coffee maker to keep me company (and hyper? better for writing stories, I say). Maybe drinking a cup at 8pm isn't the best idea, but hey, it kept me running. Besides, isn't that what sleeping pills are for?

Hidden treasure

I bought this skrit at the thrift store I volunteer at. It's a wonderful wrap skirt and I love the length. I just finished watching the first season of Games of Thrones and am absolutely in love with it! I cannot wait for the second season to come out. If any of you watch it, who is your favourite character?

Simplistic sophistication

I got these purchases last week as part of the "Black Friday" shopping crazy. The weather is getting colder, which means I naturally gravitate towards darker articles of clothing, but I absolutely love this purse! I don't own many things in leopard print (I think I own one scarf with it), and the shape of it just exudes sophistication whi;e keeping it fun with the tassles.

I set fire to the rain

I wore this outfit yesterday to run some errands. I love the silk top from F Carriere; the sweetheart neckline and pleating details are lovely. Today is the first of December, which means Christmas shopping needs to be done. I have absolutely no idea what to get anyone! I wish there was snow here, so I could be toboganning or having snowball fights.
